The magnificent Triumph of Triumph motorcycles
Founded in 1885 by Siegfried Bettmann, Triumph Motorcycles stands tall along other motorcycle manufacturers in the world. Originally manufacturing bicycles, Betmann, who was then 20 years old at the time, first named his company S. Bettmann & Co., eventually looking for a much more “universal” name for his company. By 1886, the Triumph Bicycle Company became the official name of Bettmann’s company, which eventually changed, as bicycles weren’t the only things produced by the company.
A series of investments, along with technological developments led to the conceptualization of Triumph motorcycles to be part of the company’s production roster, and was a concept greatly entertained by Triumph. Come 1902, the first of Triumph Motorcycles came into production, with great acceptance from the mass market. 1903 saw Triumph motorcycles topping sales charts, followed by the opening of production facilities in Germany.
Though basing most of its designs on other motorcycle manufacturers, Triumph motorcycles eventually produced motorcycles based on their own in-house design by 1905. By the end of that same year, over 250 variations, boasting improvements and significant enhancements, of that self same design were made, defining Triumph motorcycles are machines of sound quality and overall durability. From then on, “home brewed” designs made Triumph motorcycles a unique breed of motorcycles, with optional accessories for riders to chose from. 1907 saw larger plants to be opened for Triumph motorcycles, as the company’s production rates reached 1000 bikes, paving the way for Triumph motorcycles in becoming among the most popular motorcycles in the world.
The birth of the Riccy in 1922 stands as a milestone for Triumph motorcycles, as it become one of the manufacturer’s top products. The motorcycle featured a cast-iron cylinder, short stroke, hand shifter and bicycle-type breaks. With a top speed reaching 135 kilometers an hour, the Riccy came with optional electric lights and horn accessories, for drivers to pick if they needed. Back then, the road rules regarding motorcycles wasn’t as defined as we know today.
Today, Triumph motorcycles stand at par with other leading motorcycle manufacturers in the world. The Speed Triple model of Triumph motorcycles stands to be among the company’s famous model types available for the mass market.
Speed Triple Triumph motorcycles bring out the overall fun with sports bikes. Improved handling, more power complemented with an impressive brake system, the Speed Triple defines the value of power, giving riders the ability to control that very same power locked within the Speed Triple Triumph motorcycles.
If you’re looking for a motorcycle which boasts power, as well as control for that self same power, there’s a big chance you’d find what your looking for in Triumph motorcycles.
